I joined the OGPA in the hope that the Australasian Tour can grow in the direction of becoming a legitimate tour that professionals can earn a great living staying and playing in our region.
I joined the OGPA to have a voice for the players, it’s been a long time coming and I look forward to what the future may bring.
I joined the OGPA so that the players have more of a voice when it comes to working with the Tour.
I was told about The OGPA and what they are trying to help achieve for the future of professional golf in Oceania and it was a no-brainer to join.
I am really excited to have my say finally count towards a positive change in our organisation.
For things to improve the players need to speak up. The OGPA bring the voices of players together so they can be heard in a much more significant and constructive manner.
I think it’s important for the players to be heard. We’re the product at the tour events and if we can work collaboratively with the PGA then it will benefit everyone involved.
The OGPA should not be seen as a threat. This is a platform to further our life’s work, for the fan’s enjoyment and the individual professional athlete’s careers!
This is a great opportunity to work together alongside experienced professionals in bettering player’s futures. I think a collective voice with a strong vision could make some much needed change for touring professionals from both Australia and NZ.
We don’t have to be scared about speaking our mind anymore. Before, it felt so much like an ‘Us versus Them’scenario whereas now we all have a reason to share our thoughts. We have an association that wants what is best for all of us.
